Alojera Art Studio is dedicated to Nature, Creativity, and Self-discovery. We offer our art, and our know-how through workshops, and personal coaching.
Alojera Art Studio is a story about friendship and art. 💫 Mehdi, 🧚 Arouna, 🔥 Izik, and💥Marco felt drawn to the island of la Gomera, and later to collaborate in order to fulfil projects that could not develop in solitude.
MEHDI Nikan sculpts, builds, and is trained in traditional Persian calligraphy (Nastaliq, Shekasteh Nastaliq). and the martial arts. He loves music and dancing and literature. Click here for Mehdi's bio and profile
AROUNA Barbara Brodegger expresses her art through her love of nature: earth pigments for painting her prayers, and gardening from her experience of permaculture and geomancy. All threads weave together in her classes and seminars.Arouna's upcoming workshop: "Painting with natural pigments - Awaken your creative intuition" will be held in Alojera, February 24-28. MARCO Menato uses active imagination to explore archetypal processes in his eclectic painting. He is committed to his artistic path as a way to heal, and explore the limits of his innate potential. Marco is currently learning to speak chicken and cat.Podcast: "Conversations with Friends"
IZIK Lambez is a painter and sculptor with a magical smile, and an inner eye that sees the form within the form. Izik has been an artist since boyhood,,and rceived a classical training in Israel from some of the great contemporary masters. La Gomera has been Izik's home for decades.

Marco recently restored the barn with clay and straw as a studio, exhibition space, and magical meeting room. With Arouna's help he surrounded it with a small garden he loves dearly.
The cuatro amigos hung their paintings, positioned their sculptures, and opened the doors to the public to extend the healing power of art and creativity to all.
